Simulator Exercises
Candidates will be engaged in classroom exercises and daily take home exercise (relating to both surface and sub sea topics). Delegates will constantly be assessed during the course and performance forwarded to sponsor company. There is a final two part written assessment conducted on day five.
Course Description
Pre-IWCF Well Control Training Course
This short course is intended for anyone requiring a better understanding of Well Control theory, equipment and procedures. It is also intended as preparation for an IWCF certification course
Course Objectives
To equip delegates with sound basic knowledge and understanding of safe Drilling Well Control practises for both surface and sub sea operations.
Candidates should fully appreciate the full extent of the topics including calculations as a requirement prior to attending an IWCF DWC Combined Supervisors certification course.

Subsea Engineers & Supervisors, Trainee Drilling Engineers, OIM’s, Barge Engineers, Mud Loggers, Cementing Engineers, M.P.D. Engineers, shore based personnel involved in operations and anyone requiring a better understanding of Well Control theory, equipment and procedures or requiring
